Road Trip to Roseburg

Yesterday we trekked up to Roseburg to see my extended family. A few were able to come down when Lily was born but we still had so many new people to meet. We were both surprised to find a baby shower when we arrived. Everyone was there and I was really touched. What an effort and I really appreciate it.

Zoe decided to go to town on Great Aunt Patti's face. She seemed flattered by Zoe's confusion and sweetly accepted her attempts to suck her "breast face".

Zoe got a real kick out of her great uncle Ron.

The cake was super delicious and I did my duty to provide extra calories for breastfeeding by eating two pieces.

Thanks to my wonderful family for showing us much love. We feel blessed to have you all in our lives and look forward to sharing Zoe's steps as she grows.
